Word count bar for my novel
I have a word counter up for my novel now, showing what kind of progress I am making on my rough draft. I may not update the counter every day, but I plan to at least update it once a week to prove I am making progress on my novel.
I’m using yWriter, the free novel writing program by Spacejock. If you have not tried out this program then you need to check it out, it takes a little learning, but it is a great program that makes writing so easy. And if you like Sci-Fi novels you should check out his Hal Spacejock sf/humour novels, they are why he created this wonderful and, in my opinion, invaluable program for sharing with other writers.
