I have moved the Wyvern’s Crest Library over here onto Heir to Magic, I’ll get a link up as soon as I have it cleaned up some and the information is all organized properly. Later on I will be getting Wyvern’s Crest back up and going as a fantasy resource in general, but for now the library has been moved here.
I need to move a website that I had created called Wyvern’s Crest, so instead of losing all of the information that I had wrote for it, I decided that I would move the some of the information over here, onto Heir to Magic, instead. It is mostly things on castles and dragons and ships anyway, so it will fit in perfectly with the information that I need for Heir to Magic.
I want to try and reconfigure things here anyway, create a site that is more like what I am trying to create, so moving that stuff over here will help with that endeavor as well. I want Heir to Magic to not only track my efforts to write my novel, but to be a place where I can have a virtual scrapbook that contains all of my notes and efforts and everything. Let you, dear reader, see what I have been doing as I work to bring my novel to life.
So, please bear with me as I try to sort out the best way to create the world that I have dreamed about.
The website is starting to look like what I wanted it to be looking like. I’ll be adding more things for the novel soon, right now I have a page started for the Tower of London and one for dragons. I have a lot more planned for being added to the site as I get time to work on it, including information on the laws of my novel’s world, customs, clothing, recipes and other assorted things that just make the world of my novel seem more real.
It is closing in on one in the morning right now, so I think I better get some sleep and work more on this tomorrow.
I have placed a new theme on Heir to Magic, it might not be here for long, but I want to test out some ideas for a theme that will give the site closer to the look I want for it. Today I am testing out “Edinburgh” by Allied. I’ll see how I like this after adding a few tweaks to it, but I’m sure I’ll end up changing it by the end of the week.
I’ve got the novel resorted and moved into yWriter 4 once again. I’m really happy to have that back as my writing program of choice for this novel. One thing that I am particularly jazzed about with yWriter 4 is that it now has the ability to insert pictures of the characters in the character description area. That is something that me and my friend had been talking about a while back as being one of the few things that the program was lacking. Very nice edit to a program that already is hands down better than any of the ones that charge hundreds of dollars.
My one complaint at the moment is that when I resorted my novel and got everything pulled back together I have discovered I lost some of the novel. About 3,000 words of it. ::wince:: That hurts, but I’m not discouraged.
